The Best Online Yoga Classes

In the UK, we’re currently staying home to help prevent the unnecessary spread of Covid-19. If you’re looking for some online yoga classes (live or prerecorded) below is my list of classes/studios I’ve used and recommend. Some of these are also great for if you don’t have access to a local studio or work strange hours and can’t get to normally timetabled sessions.

There are a load more which are not on this list – these are just ones I’ve used that I’ve found to be high quality and I would recommend.

Studios with Live Online Classes:

A Fine Balance

This is the studio I teach at a couple of times a week. I love this studio and the community of yogis who practice here. It’s a small business with a big heart. Online classes are starting 30th March with a variety on offer throughout the week.

Prices: £8 drop in, £15 unlimited weekly classes (concession rates and free passes for anyone struggling financially.)

Kindred Yoga

Another small business – this studio offers a lot of Rocket and Mandala practices so if that’s your jam it’s a great choice.

Prices: £6 drop in, 10 classes for £50

Teachers with Live Online Classes:

Helen Faliveno (HMFYOGA Instagram and Facebook)

A total bundle of joy and a wonderful human being – Helen’s practices are always fun, relaxing and well put together. Helen’s hosting donation-based classes on Instagram and Facebook.

Steffy White (Instagram)

Steffy White is a complete pocket rocket. Firey and challenging practices well balanced with the breath. Steffy is holding donation-based classes on her Instagram.

Teachers with Free Pre-Recorded Classes:

Adriene Mishler (Yoga with Adriene – YouTube)

Adriene has a lot of 30 day yoga practices you can follow along with, her style is easy to understand and really inclusive. Great for beginners and those with specific needs.

Annie Clarke (YouTube)

A calming and beautiful teacher – I love Annie’s classes, I always leave feeling totally grounded and centered.

Cat Meffan (YouTube)

Cat’s classes always come with lots of smiles. I love her practices for some stronger flows and unique yoga/fitness crossover practices.

Helen Faliveno (HMFYOGA – YouTube)

Helen also has some free shorter yoga classes on YouTube. She’s doing 2020 Yoga Everyday, releasing a free yoga video every day for 2020! If you’re not subscribed you are missing out!

Shona Vertue (YouTube)

A yoga teacher and PT, Shona’s practices are always well thought out and anatomically based. She always injects humour into her videos and doesn’t take things too seriously.

Other couple of extra teachers I love who are holding their own classes online:

Victoria Rayment (Victoria Elizabeth Yoga) – Holding classes via zoom (£5 drop in, £3 concession rate). Book via Victoria’s website.

Shanel Nolan (YouYogaLondon) – Holding classes via zoom (pay what you can £3-£15 per household) Check her Instagram for info and to book.

A few bonus studios and timetables to check out if you’re interested. I haven’t tried their online classes myself but am interested!

Flo Yoga – A friend of mine runs this studio and it’s a small, new business.

Prices: £7 drop in, 5 classes for £30, 10 for £50

Indaba – This studio has some great teachers and if you can’t normally get to the studio it’s handy to access online at the moment!

Prices: £10 drop in, 5 classes for £45, 10 for £80

The Lodge Space – A small studio I’ve been to in the past with some great teachers.

Prices: £8 drop in, £20 unlimited weekly classes, 5 classes for £37.50, 10 for £65

Yogarise – A favourite studio of mine, their normal classes are awesome and I’m sure they’re great online too.

Prices: £7 drop in, 5 classes for £32.50, 10 for £60
