It’s been ‘student engagement week’ – no lectures, just a last minute, hastily put together event for us to attend. I was unable to attend the event due to assessments and moving – had it been organised earlier I may have been able to plan it in but these events are never well organised.
So, this week I had no lectures. I spent the first two days finishing off my literature review assessment and submitted that early to get it out of the way. The rest of the week has been filled with moving – packing, cleaning, moving, organising, planning, calling companies, changing addresses. All the usual stuff. To say it’s been a stressful week puts it mildly. Being self-employed, doing uni assessments, moving and struggling with severe menstrual pain has been a lot this week.
I don’t have much more to say about this week. I think my brain’s a bit fried. Too much thinking, too much to process and manage. I’m ready for the summer break! Just 6 more weeks of uni and a 3 week exam period. 8 assessments left. One step at a time. That’s how we get through things, one step at a time.
Personal learning this week: Get rid of procrastination and things happen a lot quicker!
