Eagerly awaiting spring and with mangos reduced at the supermarket I’ve been enjoying this smoothie lately.
It’s so sweet and fruity and creamy. The oats help make this a little more filling and the hemp seeds add a bit of plant-based protein.
You can easily double this recipe or more and bulk make this for breakfasts for the week. You can use fresh or frozen fruit and whatever yoghurt you have is fine to use. Enjoy!
1 large banana
Half of a mango
2tbsp (1/4 cup) oats
1tbsp hemp seeds
2tbsp (1/4 cup) yoghurt
Granola to top
Makes 1 smoothie
- Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
- If not consuming straight away add about 1/4 cup of water or milk to loosen the smoothie as it’ll thicken up in the fridge overnight.
- Enjoy on its own or topped with granola – if topping, add just before consuming.
